Responsible Wildlife Watching

Code of Conduct

At Dingle Dolphin Boat Tours, every trip is a chance to connect with the incredible wildlife of Dingle Bay, from dolphins and whales to seabirds, seals, and even basking sharks. These encounters are a privilege we never take for granted.

We are visitors in their home. Whether animals approach us or not, it’s always their choice and if they do, consider yourself lucky to witness it. Our approach is built on respect, patience, and letting nature lead the way.

Our Approach

  • We slow down when wildlife is nearby.
  • We keep a safe and respectful distance at all times.
  • We never circle, crowd, or chase animals.
  • We reduce speed or turn off engines when needed to allow wildlife to approach naturally.
  • We let wildlife come to us, always on their terms.

Why This Matters

The ocean is their home. Dolphins, whales, seabirds, basking sharks, and seals all deserve to live freely and undisturbed. By following these guidelines, we protect the wildlife, preserve the beauty of Dingle Bay, and make every encounter more special for our passengers.
