Responsible Wildlife Watching

Code of Conduct
At Dingle Dolphin Boat Tours, every trip is a chance to connect with the incredible wildlife of Dingle Bay, from dolphins and whales to seabirds, seals, and even basking sharks. These encounters are a privilege we never take for granted.
We are visitors in their home. Whether animals approach us or not, it’s always their choice and if they do, consider yourself lucky to witness it. Our approach is built on respect, patience, and letting nature lead the way.
Our Approach
Our approach follows national guidelines for responsible marine wildlife watching and reflects the latest Code of Conduct introduced for operators in the south-west of Ireland. This ensures every encounter is safe, natural, and sustainable.
Our skippers are experienced at reading animal behaviour and always put the welfare of the wildlife first.
Why This Matters
The ocean is their home. Dolphins, whales, seabirds, basking sharks, and seals all deserve to live freely and undisturbed. By following these guidelines, we protect the wildlife, preserve the beauty of Dingle Bay, and make every encounter more special for our passengers.
